COVID-19: Workforce Vaccinations Part 2
Our panel including scientist Dr. April Randhawa from Fred Hutch, attorney Kathy Feldman from Karr Tuttle and benefits compliance expert, Bob Radecki will shed light on the following questions:
- Where are we in the distribution of COVID-19 vaccinations?
- What do we need to know about the mutant variation strains of the COVID-19 virus?
- Can I mandate that my workforce be vaccinated for COVID-19?
- Can I incentivize my workforce to get the vaccine?
- How do I handle those who refuse the vaccine and what other safety measures can I implement?
- How will the new administration impact vaccine roll-out?

Dr. April Randhawa is a staff scientist at Fred Hutch and the Associate Director of Lab Science for the HIV Vaccine Trials Network and Coronavirus Prevention Network Statistical Centers. Her research focuses on vaccine evaluation & the immune response to infectious diseases. Dr. Randhawa is part of the team of scientists at Fred Hutch that have been working with many of the COVID-19 vaccine developers to harmonize the design and execution of the clinical trials as part of Operation Warp Speed.
Kathy Feldman
Attorney @Karr Tuttle Campbell
Kathy L. Feldman is a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Department. She has focused her practice on Employment law since 1985, helping clients navigate issues ranging from employment agreement negotiation to breach of contract litigation. Ms. Feldman counsels employers on matters such as sexual harassment, discrimination, wage and hour requirements, the Family Medical Leave Act, personnel policies and procedures, investigation of personnel complaints, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and hiring practices. She has developed innovative strategies to help clients reduce the likelihood of litigation and has extensive experience drafting personnel handbooks, employment forms, employment agreements and other personnel documents.

Bob Radecki is Senior Regulatory & Public Policy Analyst and a Principal at Benefit Comply, LLC, an employee benefits compliance consulting firm headquartered in St. Paul, MN. Bob has over 30 years’ experience helping employers deal with issues such as the ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA and has authored numerous compliance related articles and publications. Prior to his tenure at Benefit Comply Bob served in number of compliance management and consulting roles including founding and serving as President of A.E. Roberts Company, a nationally recognized compliance consulting and training firm. Bob has also been a featured speaker at seminars and webinars nationwide.
